Terms of Service

Welcome to TCFgo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website tcfgo.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by TCFgo ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

TCFgo is an online study platform that provides practice questions, mock exams, explanations and translations, AI-generated scoring and feedback, and related study tools for learners preparing for the TCF Canada exam.

Independence disclaimer. TCFgo is an independent practice platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to France Éducation international, the TCF exam, or any official testing organization. "TCF" and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used on this Service only to describe the exam our materials help you prepare for. Practicing on this Service does not register you for, or guarantee any result on, the official exam.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Your account is personal to you. Account sharing is not permitted. One account is for use by one person. We limit the number of devices that can be signed in at the same time and may suspend accounts that show signs of sharing.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• If your account was created for you by a school or training institution, that institution manages your membership and its teachers can see your practice records.

3. Membership, Activation Codes, and Paid Features

• Part of the question bank is free to use. Other content and features (such as the full question bank, AI scoring, and study analytics) are available only to paid members.
• Paid membership can be purchased on the website, with payment processed by our third-party payment processor (Creem), or activated by redeeming an activation code obtained through our authorized sales channels.
• Memberships sold on the website are one-time purchases for a fixed term (for example 1, 3, or 6 months). They do not renew automatically, and you are not charged again unless you make a new purchase.
• Prices and included benefits are shown on the Pricing page and at the point of purchase. Website purchases are charged in US dollars. Any price shown in another currency is an approximate reference only. By completing a purchase you authorize the payment processor to charge your selected payment method.
• Membership is activated on your account after payment is confirmed, normally within a few minutes.
• Refunds for purchases made on the website are governed by the Refund Policy in Section 4 below.
• Each activation code can be used once. Once a code is redeemed and membership is activated, the code cannot be re-used, transferred, or exchanged for cash. Refund requests for codes are handled by the sales channel where you purchased them, in accordance with that channel's policy.
• Activation codes and accounts are valid only when obtained from us or our authorized sales channels. Codes or accounts obtained from unauthorized resellers may be invalidated or suspended without compensation.
• Some AI features consume in-account credits or are subject to fair-use limits. Current limits are shown in the Service and may be adjusted to keep the Service reliable for all members.
• Membership benefits, included features, and pricing may change over time. Changes do not reduce the remaining term of a membership you have already activated.

4. Refund Policy (Website Purchases)

This section applies to memberships purchased directly on tcfgo.com through our payment processor (Creem). Refunds for activation codes bought through third-party sales channels are handled by the channel where you purchased them.

Because membership grants immediate access to digital content, refunds are available only during a short evaluation window. A refund request is eligible only if all of the following conditions are met at the time of the request:

These limits are measured by our system records. As soon as any one limit is exceeded, the refund window closes and the purchase is final.

Additional terms:

• Eligible refunds are returned in full to the original payment method through the payment processor. Once we approve the refund, it typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
• On refund, the associated membership is deactivated.
• Refunds are not available for memberships that have been suspended or terminated for violating these Terms (including account sharing, content scraping, or use of unauthorized codes or accounts).
• If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), or you paid but your membership was not activated, contact us at support@tcfgo.com with your order reference and we will investigate regardless of the limits above.
• Under applicable consumer-protection laws you may have additional rights that cannot be limited by this policy. Nothing here reduces those rights.

To request a refund, email support@tcfgo.com from the email address on your account, quoting your order reference.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Share, sell, rent, or transfer your account or membership benefits to any other person;
• Copy, scrape, crawl, bulk-download, republish, resell, or redistribute practice materials, questions, audio, explanations, sample answers, or any other content from the Service;
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, crawlers) to access the Service, or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or human-verification measure;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, prompts, or models underlying the Service;
• Upload or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or malicious;
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Where a violation involves misappropriation of paid content or platform abuse, we reserve the right to terminate the account without refund of any unused membership period.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Our content. The software, design, explanations, translations, feedback frameworks, and other materials of the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your own exam preparation only.

Your content. You retain ownership of the responses you create on the Service (such as essays and speaking recordings). By submitting them, you grant us a license to store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Service, including processing by third-party AI providers to generate your scores and feedback, and to use it in de-identified form to improve the Service.

Reporting a concern. If you believe any content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@tcfgo.com with the details and we will review it promptly.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Scores, feedback, sample answers, and study suggestions on the Service are generated by artificial-intelligence systems. They are practice estimates and learning aids, not official scores:

• AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies;
• AI-estimated scores do not predict or guarantee your result on the official exam;
• Sample answers are study references and should not be memorized and reproduced as your own work in the official exam.

You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content in your preparation.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, add, or remove features, or suspend the Service for maintenance, at any time. Where a change materially reduces the core paid features of active memberships, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected members.

9. Termination

• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Where the violation is serious (including account sharing, content scraping, or payment fraud), termination may take effect without prior notice and without refund.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 10, and 11) will survive.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that your official exam results will improve.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the membership period in which the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. General

• Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Language. These Terms are provided in English and Chinese. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and provide notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
